Overnight Boarding & Daycare Policies


Vaccination Policy

     All dogs coming into our facility for Overnight Boarding or Doggy Daycare are required to provide proof of the following vaccinations, administered no less than seven days prior to the start of their reservation. 
  • Rabies: All dogs over five months of age. Please note that Rabies Tags are NOT accepted as proof of current vaccination.
  • Distemper or Distemper Combo
  • Bordetella: Also knows as kennel cough

Vaccines must be administered at a Veterinary Clinic or Vaccine Clinic by a member of their staff, and documented proof must be on Veterinarian letterhead. We do not accept vaccines bought and administered at home, even if they are purchased in the office of your preferred Veterinarian. There will be no exceptions to this policy, so please plan your veterinary appointments accordingly.

Please send us a copy of these vaccines prior to your dog’s stay, or upload one to your account HERE. We recommend having your vet fax a copy to us immediately following any appointments so we have them on hand for emergency situations.

If you can provide documentation showing that any required vaccines expired less than four months prior to the start of your reservation, you will be exempt from the seven day waiting period. This policy will be enforced for both new and existing clients.

Credit/Debit Card & Deposit Required for all Overnight Boarding Reservations

A valid credit/debit card on file is required in order to request Overnight Boarding kennels.

  • Deposits are now required for ALL Overnight Boarding requests throughout the year. These deposit are non-refundable. Please check your email and Customer Portal for follow-up directions.
    •     Cancellations made with 72+ hours notice will have their account credited with their paid deposit amount. We will not refund credit/debit cards directly.
    •     Cancellation under 72 hours notice will lose their deposit in full.
  • Clients who do not arrive for their reservation without notice (No Shows), or those who are turned away at arrival due to lack of required vaccines according to our policies, will be automatically charged for their ENTIRE stay, including any extras such as nail trims, enrichment toys, gourmet meals, etc.
  • Due to increase in facility demand, supply usage, and labor costs during certain holidays and peak times throughout the year (including but not limited to Spring Break, Memorial Weekend, Fourth of July, Labor Day Weekend, Thanksgiving Week, Christmas Week, New Year's Week), a price adjustment will be incurred depending on the number of animals per kennel. Prices are reflected through the Booking Portal during those times.

Full payment is not required until the end of your reservation when you pick up from B&H Rover Retreat, however you are welcome to put a partial payment or estimated full payment down on Confirmed Overnight Reservations ahead of time if you so choose. Please note that we charge in 24 hour increments, which may result in an additional half day charge depending on drop off and pick up time. If a friend, family member, or other authorized person is picking up in your/owner absence, we will automatically charge the card on file unless other arrangements are made previously with staff.

A valid credit/debit card on file is required in order to reserve Daycare kennels. Clients who do not arrive for their reservation without notice, or those who are turned away at arrival due to lack of required vaccines, will be automatically charged $20 (plus any extra services such as nail trims, gourmet meals, meal toppers, and stuffed enrichment toys). ​

We require that you bring your dog’s normal food from home to help eliminate any unnecessary tummy troubles during their stay.
  • Please bring enough food for two extra days in case of emergency.
  • If your dog runs out of food, or if you did not bring any with, a small bag will be added to your bill from our retail selection.
We ask that you please leave bedding at home. All kennels are provided with Kuranda Elevated Beds and blankets for your dogs comfort. We do not have space to store bedding items brought from home.
Chew toys are provided for each dog that can safely have them while unsupervised in their kennel.
  • Please let our office staff know if your dog is not allowed to have toys.
